1. Features:
The PVC vulcanizing jointing press has stainless steel body case .This press for splicing thermoplastic conveyor belts (e.g. PVC belts),with an external control box and a water-pump. Using water cooling tank for cooling.
User must outfit an air-pump for sufficient pressure. let the belts be tightly bonded.
The PVC press provides electric heating during water cooling.

1) Splice pressure is applied by an internal compressor, 2 bar (28 psi),watercooled type pressure adjustable.
2) Heat up to a splice temperature of max. 200°C (392°F)
3) Steady splice temperature (adjustable dwell time)
4) Cool down to the cooling temperature (safe temperature to take the belt out)
5) For thicker belts a preheat temperature and preheat dwell time can be applied
6) The bottom heating can be set lower or higher than the upper heating

2.advantages:
The PVC press technical features :stainless body ,double bladders ,laser heating silica gel plates ,built-in direct cooling system.

1) It takes 20 minutes to heat up to 200°C,and takes 3 minutes to cool down to 60°C.The horizontal direction temperature error range within 2°C,completely meets the requirement of the belt jointing.
2) bladders adding pressure:0-3.0kg adjustable.
3) Intelligent digital display control box: automatic heating ,automatic temperature control, automatically cut off power supply.
4) Water pump.
5) Two stainless platen ,the beams are firm ,durable and no distortion.

3.Operation steps

Before the heating press:
1 Put the belt connector (had been tooth fighted & fixed by air gun) on the mould flatly.
2 Put a small belt(the same thickness) at both sides to avoid the melting PVC overflowing.
3 Cover a piece of teflon on the belt.(function of Teflon : not sticking to the melting PVC belt , thermostability & fast heat transfer ,heat evenly)
4 Cover the male mold, tighten the controlling nuts of both ends.
5 Open the power switch.

During the heating
Please keep the electric tension stable and don't disturb the heating press mold during the heating process.
After the heating press
1 Open the controlling nut ,move the male mold.
2 Cutting belts

When the belt is relatively thick, a problem might occur: Outside of the belt heating too long, waiting for the inside to reach the required temperature. Molten material might flow away or discolor and fabrics might shrink. To avoid this problem, the preheat option can be used. This option evenly rises the outside and inside temperature of the belt to a just melting temperature. After the preheat stage, the inside splice temperature can be available more quicker, minimizing the risk for unwanted flow of material, discoloring or fabric shrinkage.
